Seema Ahmed

Seema has extensive NHS experience of working in Medical HR roles primarily medical resourcing but has experience in medical HR and medical Education.

In previous roles, she was Medical Staffing Manager at various NHS Trusts in London where her role included being involved in employee relations, managing the doctors European working time arrangements and training staff on processes and procedures for medical staff. She has extensive experience in medical recruitment including international recruitment for hard to fill/shortage occupation medical specialties.

For the last 9 years, Seema has developed an in-depth knowledge of medical revalidation and medical education with her most recent employment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust where she currently works as Senior Education Manager. Seema was responsible for successfully implementing the medical revalidation and appraisal processes at the RNOH.

Seema is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Jane Cole

30 years' experience within Medical Personnel

Jane has worked in the NHS in Medical Personnel for over 30 years in various Trusts including large teaching Trusts and smaller District General Hospitals. She previously worked for a large London Medical Locum agency for two years during the 1980’s and set up their South West office. Jane was a very active member of NAMPS Executive for 11 years from 1997 to 2008. Over the last 10 years Jane Cole Associates have run over 100 very successful courses covering all areas of Medical HR work.

In September 2018, Jane Cole Associates was acquired by Dearden HR, a small HR Consultancy specialising in NHS work with a wide portfolio of NHS clients. It has specialist expertise in medical HR matters. Although Jane Cole no longer delivers training, Dearden HR is committed to building on Jane’s work, running successful training courses and providing consultancy for both NHS organisations and non-NHS organisations who employ doctors and dentists on NHS Terms and Conditions of Service.
